Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Islamabad
Airport transfers, check-in and a welcome dinner together, with time to explore the capital and the Faisal Mosque.
Day 2
Flight to Skardu
One of the most scenic flights in the world, over the Karakoram to Skardu, then an easy afternoon adjusting to the altitude.
Day 3
Day excursion to Khaplu
Along the Shyok river to Khaplu, the old Balti Fort and palace, and the villages of the valley.
Day 4
Journey to Karimabad, Hunza Valley
A full day on the road north into Hunza, with Rakaposhi and the mountain wall of the Karakoram alongside us.
Day 5
Miacher Kho Meadow & Hunza highlights
Up to Miacher Kho Meadow for the wide view, then Karimabad, Baltit Fort and the Eagles Nest viewpoint at sunset.
Day 6
Gojal Valley & Passu Cones
North through Gojal to Attabad Lake and the cathedral spires of the Passu Cones, one of the great sights of Pakistan.
Day 7
Travel to Gilgit
Back down the Karakoram Highway to Gilgit, with stops for the river confluences and the villages along the way.
Day 8
Travel to Peshawar
Out of the mountains and west to Peshawar, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in South Asia.
Day 9
Peshawar exploration
The old city, the Sethi houses, Qissa Khwani Bazaar and a last dinner of Peshawari food together.
Day 10
Departure
Breakfast together and transfers to the airport.
