Overview

In 2022, I visited Cambodia for the first time, and it completely stole my heart. The country's rich history, stunning temples, and warm, welcoming people make it a place I never want to stop exploring.

Cambodia is truly special, and now I want to share this incredible destination with you.

In Siem Reap we watch the sun come up behind Angkor Wat, walk through Bayon and Ta Prohm, boat into the flooded village of Kampong Phluk, climb Kulen Mountain for its waterfalls, meet the life-saving rats at APOPO, and share a traditional meal with a family in Bakong village.

In Phnom Penh we face the country's history at the Killing Fields and S-21, tour the National Museum and Wat Phnom, cruise the Mekong at sunset, cook Khmer food from scratch, and give back with a visit to a local school.

    Kampong Phluk & APOPO

    Boat into Kampong Phluk, one of Asia's largest flooded villages, then the life-saving rats at APOPO — and Siem Reap's nightlife after dark.

  4. Day 4

    Kulen Mountain

    Day trip to Kulen Mountain for its breathtaking waterfalls and local village food.

  5. Day 5

    Bakong village & giving back

    A traditional meal with a local family, the ancient Bakong Temple, and a visit to a local school to donate supplies.

  6. Day 6

    To Phnom Penh

    Travel to the capital, riverside walk and a sunset cruise along the Mekong River.

  7. Day 7

    The Killing Fields & S-21

    The Killing Fields and the S-21 Genocide Prison — Cambodia's history and its resilience.

    City tour, market & cooking class

    The National Museum and iconic temples including Wat Phnom, Cambodia's largest market for Khmer food, and a traditional Khmer cooking class.

    Departure
